About [dweller] The Nile
[dweller] The Nile arrives in New York as a live electronic set staged at Public Records, using the club as both instrument and room. The bill moves between rhythmic experimentalism and dance-floor lineage, with Machinedrum, Hercules & Love Affair, Justin Cudmore, DJ Minx, and Dee Diggs shaping the night’s arc. In a city where electronic music has long served as an engine for queer and Black nightlife, the event reads less like a showcase than a record of those continuities. Its clearest point is curatorial: the sequencing treats genre as social history, not branding.
