“Connected Worlds” is a gallery-scale interactive environment at the New York Hall of Science that stages ecosystems as something you can alter in real time. Visitors move through projected habitats, triggering shifts in water, plant life, and animal populations, and watching how one change ripples across the whole system. In a city where most nature is engineered and maintained, the piece gives kids a concrete way to think about interdependence and resource limits. Its one drawback is that the lesson can blur when the room feels more like a game than a model.
