About This Event

Orlas is a Brazilian father-son project from Victor Chicri and Vic Delnur, the name drawn from the Portuguese word for "shores." Their music channels the spirit of 1970s Brazil through psychedelic folk, samba-jazz, and bossa nova, layering nylon guitar, percussion, Rhodes, and Micromoog beneath warm, cosmic vocals. Chicri is a Latin Grammy-recognized pianist and producer who has performed alongside Gal Costa, Seu Jorge, Bebel Gilberto, and Tim Maia; Delnur is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has collaborated with Sessa, Mahmundi, and Luciane Dom.
