About BASEMENT
BASEMENT is an underground club venue in Maspeth, Queens, built for late-night electronic music and DJ-centered programming. It opened in 2019 as part of the Knockdown Center complex, using a stripped-back, low-ceiling room to keep the focus on sound and rhythm. The space is known for extended sets and bookings that lean toward techno and other club-oriented forms. Down here, the architecture does some of the curating, narrowing attention to the dance floor and the mix.
