High Bar NYC is a small performance bar in Manhattan, used primarily for comedy and late-night showcase programming. It sits in Midtown, within walking distance of several of the district’s older theater houses, and draws a mix of industry drop-ins and neighborhood regulars. The room is set up for close-range sets, with the audience packed near the stage and the sound kept intentionally dry. One of its quiet strengths is how the space makes even short sets feel like a test in front of attentive ears.
