On West 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan’s Theater District, the Music Box Theatre is a Broadway house built for musical theater and plays. It opened in 1921 and seats about 1,025 patrons across two levels. The building was designed by C. Howard Crane with Palladian influence, and both its exterior and auditorium are designated New York City landmarks. Operated by The Shubert Organization, it remains a working stage where Broadway productions cycle through a compact, carefully detailed room.
