Lena Horne Theatre
About Lena Horne Theatre
The Lena Horne Theatre stands at 256 West 47th Street in Midtown Manhattan’s Theater District, operating as a Broadway playhouse. The house opened in 1926 and seats 1,069 across two levels. Architect Herbert J. Krapp gave it a Spanish Revival design, and both the exterior and the auditorium are protected as New York City landmarks. Managed by the Nederlander Organization, it remains a working part of Times Square’s nightly theater traffic, where productions meet a room built for close attention.
