About Brooklyn Bridge Park
Brooklyn Bridge Park stretches along the East River waterfront in Brooklyn, linking lawns and converted piers from Atlantic Avenue to the area near Jay Street. Opened in phases beginning in 2010, the 85-acre public landscape was designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates. Its cultural calendar leans toward outdoor concerts, film screenings, dance, and seasonal community programs staged across the park’s piers and plazas. On certain nights, the skyline becomes a working backdrop rather than scenery.
