Situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the Circle in the Square Theatre has been a fixture at 235 West 50th Street since 1972. Known for its distinctive thrust stage design, this venue places the audience on three sides, fostering an intimate theater experience. Originally seating 650, it now accommodates 776 patrons. The theater has its roots in an off-Broadway venue established around 1950 by theater visionaries including Theodore Mann and José Quintero.
