Nublu, located in the vibrant East Village of Manhattan, opened its doors in 2002 thanks to the vision of Swedish-Turkish saxophonist Ilhan Ersahin. Celebrated for its distinctive musical blend, Nublu champions a fusion of jazz with influences from African, South American, Caribbean, and electronic music. The venue has become a cultural hub, attracting renowned artists such as John Zorn and Norah Jones along with bands like The Brazilian Girls. Anchoring itself within New York City's fabric, Nublu continues to be a meeting ground for diverse musical expressions and cross-cultural collaborations.
