About Ruins at Knockdown Center
Ruins at Knockdown Center is an outdoor performance courtyard at 52-19 Flushing Ave in Maspeth, Queens. It opened in 2016 as a seasonal extension of the adjacent Knockdown Center, built into the site’s former industrial infrastructure with a raw concrete-and-steel footprint. Programming leans toward electronic music, experimental club nights, and contemporary performance that can move between dance floor, stage work, and installation. In summer, its open-air layout makes the building’s edges feel like part of the show.
