About Sugar Hill Children's Museum
Sugar Hill Children’s Museum sits in the Sugar Hill section of Upper Manhattan, inside the Sugar Hill Development at 155th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Opened in 2015, it focuses on children’s programming that links visual art, storytelling, and family learning through exhibitions and workshops. The building was designed by architect David Adjaye and also houses a preschool and affordable apartments under the Broadway Housing Communities umbrella. Its galleries keep the scale intimate, with shows that favor close looking and hands-on participation.
